Chambers Europe 2024 – new awards

We are once again delighted to have received numerous awards in the current Chambers Europe 2024 ranking for various practice groups and also for individual lawyers. Particularly noteworthy is the first-time ranking of the entire practice group in the area of White-Collar Crime as well as Bernd Wiesinger‘s ranking in the same area in the “Up and Coming” category.

Awards were received for the respective teams in Antitrust and State Aid Law, Public Economic and Constitutional Law, Environmental and Technology Law, Public Procurement Law and Criminal Defense and White-Collar Crime Law.

In the category Public Law: Planning and Environment, the team around Wilhelm Bergthaler and Wolfgang Berger achieved the best possible rating with Band 1. In the category Public Law: General, Haslinger / Nagele attained Band 2 as well as in the category Public Law: Public Procurement/PPP. Furthermore, the law firm is represented in the field of Competition/European Law (Band 4) and this year, for the first time, also in the area of White-Collar Crime (Band 4).

We are particularly pleased that numerous individuals have been named and thus recognized in their respective fields: Wolfgang Moringer is one of the few “Senior Statespeople” in the White-Collar Crime category. With the listing of René Haumer and Bernd Wiesinger, we are delighted to have a triple nomination in this category. In the category Competition/European Law, three experts – Martin Oder, Martin Stempkowski and Alexander Hiersche – are ranked, with the latter also being promoted to Band 4. Wilhelm Bergthaler achieves a Band 1 ranking in two disciplines (Public Law: General and Public Law: Planning and Environment) and Wolfgang Berger is once again one of the outstanding experts in the category Public Law: Planning and Environment. Martin Oder and Martin Stempkowski are also mentioned twice (in addition to Competition/European Law also Public Law: Public Procurement/PPP).
