5th edition: The Commercial Operating Facility

With a fresh perspective and solid expertise, the handbook “The Commercial Operating Facility” is launching into its fifth edition. The editors Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gerhard Baumgartner, Wilhelm Bergthaler, and HR Priv.-Doz. Dr. Erich Pürgy are leading the work into a new era without losing sight of its proven foundation.

Commercial facilities law is among the most demanding areas of law, as it combines technical, legal, and economic requirements. Permits, conditions, environmental and neighbor protection – all of these are central topics that are essential for a safe and sustainable commercial operation.

A total of 18 authors from administration, judiciary, legal practice, legislative drafting, and academia contribute their experience and expertise – an interdisciplinary approach that makes the work particularly valuable.

We are pleased that Wolfgang Berger, Wilhelm Bergthaler, Cornelia Lanser, and Emil Nigmatullin, among others, have contributed to the further development of this standard work.
