Cornelia Lanser has been a lawyer in the “Public Commercial Law” team since 2024 and advises on various areas of European and Austrian public law with a focus on environmental law, in particular plant law, product law and waste law.

Cornelia Lanser studied law at the University of Vienna from 2011 to 2015 and then worked for four years as a university assistant at the Institute for European Law, International Law and Comparative Law at the University of Vienna (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Thomas Jaeger, LL.M.). In the course of this, she spent a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg and received her doctorate from the University of Vienna in 2020 (with distinction). In 2020/2021, she completed an LL.M. program in Leiden (Netherlands) to deepen her knowledge of European law. In 2021 she started her career as an associate and since 2023 she has been strengthening Haslinger / Nagele at the Vienna office.

Cornelia Lanser is the author of numerous relevant specialist publications, regularly gives lectures and is a lecturer in European law at the University of Vienna. She is also a National Rapporteur for the FIDE (Fédération Internationale pour le Droit Européen).
