Thomas Baumgartner, LL.M.

Thomas Baumgartner studied Bussines Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at the Uppsala University (Sweden). After the mandatory judicial clerkship, he worked for more than five years at a major Vienna based law firm specialising in the practice area of dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration and white collar crime). After completing his training to become a certified compliance officer, he moved to Germany in 2019, to work for one of the leading boutique law firms in the field of compliance, with worldwide projects in the area of preventive compliance, internal investigations and compliance monitorships. In June 2022, Thomas Baumgartner returned to Vienna and joined our firm as attorney at law.

His main areas of practice are dispute resolution, compliance and internal investigations. In addition to representing clients in all areas of dispute resolution, he also offers an interdisciplinary advisory approach to support companies both in the implementation and further development of preventive compliance measures as well as in the investiagtion of compliance violations and the associated enforcement or defense of any claims for compensation.
