360° EE advises renewable energy community in Wels

Under the leadership of Johannes Hartlieb and Kaleb Kitzmüller, Haslinger / Nagele, in cooperation with Wels Strom GmbH, supported the renewable energy community Schafwiesenstraße Wels in its establishment and implementation. This enables the members of the energy community to purchase green electricity at lower grid costs and reduce their dependence on fossil fuels.

Renewable energy communities have only recently been introduced into the Austrian legal system and are aimed at decentralized energy production for decentralized energy consumption. The legislator promotes this type of energy decentralization, which is reserved for smaller and medium-sized companies, through lower grid costs. For more information, we refer you to this recently published article.

“Renewable energy communities are central building blocks of the energy transition. With the support of Haslinger / Nagele Rechtsanwälte GmbH, we were able to implement the Schafwiesenstraße Wels renewable energy community project quickly and expeditiously, thus providing the community members with real cost benefits.”

Ing. Lothar Müller, authorized signatory at Wels Strom
