PV Congress 2026

Photovoltaic Austria will host the annual PV Congress on March 25th, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV). In addition to current political developments, the event will present innovations in the field of photovoltaics as well as exciting new projects.

This year’s congress will highlight current developments in the energy sector and how the Electricity Industry Act (ElWG) is bringing new momentum for the expansion of photovoltaics and energy storage. Additionally, the focus will be on the topics of information and deliberate disinformation, as well as the question of what actions can be derived from them. In addition, the blackout experiences in Spain will be used to show how security mechanisms function in practice. A compact update on federal laws and subsidies will provide guidance in this dynamic legal environment.

Haslinger / Nagele and the Praxisgruppe 360°Erneuerbare Energie will, of course, not be missing from this event. The practice group will be represented as an exhibitor. Johannes Hartlieb and Mario Laimgruber will be available to discuss the legal changes in the implementation and operation of PV systems.
