ÖWAV Seminar: “Law of Hydropower”

The Austrian Water and Waste Management Association (ÖWAV), in cooperation with Haslinger / Nagele, is organizing the practical seminar “Law of Hydropower” at the Hotel Heffterhof in Salzburg on June 11th, 2025.

This practical seminar addresses the current legal issues of hydropower, focusing on developments at the EU level (e.g., RED III, Nature Restoration Regulation). The wide range of practice-relevant topics will be presented by experts from public administration, the legal profession, the planning sector, and from operators.

As part of the event, our expert Mario Laimgruber will give a lecture in Block III on the topic of “Possibilities and Limits of Relief for those Entitled to Use Water Within the Meaning of Section 21b WRG 1959” starting at 4:00 p.m.
