At the beginning of February 2020, Thomas Riesz joined the data protection, real estate & construction as well as public economic & constitutional law teams.
Thomas Riesz has been with Haslinger / Nagele in Linz since February 2017. Previously, he worked as a university assistant at the Institute of Constitutional Law and Political Sciences at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and subsequently as deputy head of the Department of Public Business Law. After completing his doctoral thesis in the field of medical and public health law, he was awarded a one-year service assignment at the State Administrative Court of Upper Austria.
His main areas of practice are public business law, in particular data protection law, as well as administrative and constitutional law. In addition to his work as an Associate, Thomas Riesz regularly publishes in relevant legal journals magazines and is active as an editor and lecturer.
With Thomas Riesz, Haslinger / Nagele gains another highly qualified lawyer, who advises clients on a wide range of issues in the area of public economic law as well as on the interface between European Union law and public economic law.
