Dr. Norbert Nagele

After completing his legal studies at the Universities of Vienna and Salzburg with a PhD in law, Norbert Nagele joined the law firm of Walter Haslinger, founder of present-day Haslinger / Nagele, in 1976. In 1980, Norbert Nagele became partner of the law firm, which was then renamed Haslinger / Nagele.

After many years of relevant experience, his main areas of practice are business succession & trusts as well as corporate law and M&A.

Besides his work as an attorney at law, Norbert Nagele held numerous positions, for example as a member of the University Council of the Johannes Kepler University Linz and as vice-president of the Upper Austrian Bar Association. In addition, Norbert Nagele is chairman of several boards of trustees and also a member of various supervisory boards of well-known Austrian companies. From 2000 to 2013, he also lectured in corporate and company acquisition law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. He is author of numerous publications. Inter alia, Norbert Nagele together with Dietmar Lux, commented the chapters “Amendment of the Statute” and “Corporate Actions” in the renowned Manz commentary on the Stock Corporation Act (Aktiengesetz), edited by Prof. Artmann and Prof. Karollus.
