After graduating from the Karl-Franzens-University Graz (including a semester abroad at the Université de Lyon) with a degree in law, Markus Gaderer completed the postgraduate program “Information and Media Law” at the University of Vienna. Following his work for a well-known law company in Vienna, he joined Haslinger / Nagele as an Associate and Partner in 2010.

His main areas of practice are intellectual property rights (trademarks, utility models, designs, patents, copyright law etc.) as well as competition and data protection law; matters on which he renders advice and represents clients before authorities and courts.

Besides his work as an Attorney at law, Markus Gaderer is co-author of numerous legal commentaries regarding his field of expertise; for instance he has contributed to publications on trademark law, copyright law and antitrust law. Moreover, he regularly delivers lectures concerning these areas of law.
