After graduating from the Karl-Franzens-University Graz and at the Université de Lyon II with a degree in law, Markus Gaderer completed the postgraduate program “Information and Media Law” at the University of Vienna. Following his work for a well-known law company in Vienna, he joined Haslinger / Nagele as an Associate and Partner in 2010.
His practice focuses on intellectual property law (trademarks, designs, patents, copyright, etc.) and competition law, as well as digital regulation (data protection, DSA, DMA, AI Act, etc.), both in an advisory capacity and as a representative before authorities and courts.
Besides his work as an Attorney at law, Markus Gaderer is co-author of numerous legal commentaries regarding his field of expertise; for instance he has contributed to publications on trademark law, copyright law, antitrust law and the Digital Services Act. Moreover, he is also a lecturer at the teaching and learning platform ip.courses and a lecturer at Johannes Kepler University Linz.
