In July 2024, Cornelia Lanser (31) will be promoted to Attorney-at-Law at Haslinger / Nagele Rechtsanwälte. After nearly three years as an Associate, the East Tyrolean-born lawyer is now strengthening the Public Commercial Law team at the firm’s Vienna office.
Cornelia Lanser specializes in various areas of European and Austrian public law, with a particular focus on environmental law, especially plant law, product law and waste law. A main focus of her work is the circular economy.

Cornelia Lanser has an impressive academic background. After studying law at the University of Vienna, she worked for four years as a university assistant at the Institute for European Law, International Law, and Comparative Law under the chair of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Thomas Jaeger, LL.M. In 2020, she earned her doctorate with distinction from the University of Vienna, following a research stay at the renowned Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg. In 2020/2021, she completed an LL.M. program in Leiden (Netherlands) to deepen her expertise in European law.
In addition to her work as an Attorney-at-Law, Cornelia Lanser is the author of numerous relevant specialist publications, regularly gives lectures, and is a lecturer in gambling law at the University of Vienna.
