Artificial Intelligence & Digitalization

Legal compass for digital innovations

The EU AI Act has arrived – and with it, a new legal framework that significantly regulates the use of artificial intelligence in Europe. The aim is to promote trustworthy AI while minimizing risks to fundamental rights, safety, and health. For companies, the use of artificial intelligence can create significant competitive advantages – but also new risks. Our goal: to master this complexity together by addressing the requirements and shaping the digital development of your company in a legally compliant manner.

AI developers, providers, or users – tailored advice for each role

Whether you develop AI systems, distribute them as a provider, or use them in your company – each role comes with specific legal requirements. Legal issues ranging from data protection and liability questions to regulatory requirements accompany everyday work and require a reliable framework for action.

Legally compliant navigation through the AI Act

We guide you step by step in defining the legal framework for your own AI strategy:

  1. A first, very important step is to analyze the AI system in question and to obtain an overview of the digital applications that are used.
  2. This overview forms the basis for the subsequent risk classification and the specific obligations that arise for the company from the AI Act.
  3. To ensure AI compliance, a system is developed for how artificial intelligence can be used in companies or offered to customers in accordance with the AI Act. In addition, the focus must also be placed on AI awareness among employees. Successful implementation requires an understanding of the opportunities and risks that AI presents. This involves not only the risks mentioned in the AI Act, but also, for example, liability risks with regard to any confidentiality obligations. Building AI competence and managing associated risks is essential. The goal is to strengthen competitiveness from a corporate perspective, ensure digital independence and data security, and reduce liability risks.
  4. In addition to content-related analysis, a timeline for implementation is required in line with the AI Act’s entry into force – with a particular focus on establishing infrastructure for management and the conformity assessment system.
