Lena Tschurlovich completed her law degree at the University of Vienna in the minimum time required and spent a semester abroad at the University of Sheffield, England, as part of her studies. During her studies, she was awarded several merit scholarships for her above-average academic achievements and at the same time gained valuable practical experience as an intern and legal trainee at a renowned law firm.

After completing her studies, she completed her legal clerkship at the Vienna Higher Regional Court and worked as a trainee lawyer in the field of corporate and M&A. Most recently, she spent three years as a university assistant (prae doc) to Prof. Ulrich Torggler, LL.M., at the Institute for Business and Economic Law at the University of Vienna, where she was also awarded the Univie Teaching Award 2024. As part of her work as a university assistant, she conducted research as a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg and wrote her dissertation on association sovereignty, which is funded by the Graf Hardegg Private Foundation.

Lena Tschurlovich joined the Haslinger / Nagele team as a trainee lawyer in March 2025. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law as well as M&A.
