Laura Viechtbauer Promotion to Attorney-at-Law

As of October 2023, Laura Viechtbauer (31) is promoted to Attorney-at-Law after working for Haslinger / Nagele for more than 3.5 years. With her promotion, we have once again succeeded in strengthening the existing team of in-house attorneys in the Criminal Defense and White-Collar Crime Team with extremely talented and committed young talent.

After completing her law studies at the University of Vienna, Viechtbauer worked as corporate counsel for an internationally operating transport company, where she focused primarily on data protection. Before joining Haslinger / Nagele, she had already gained valuable professional experience in two renowned law firms. In April 2020, she began her professional career as an Associate at Haslinger / Nagele and has now successfully risen to the position of Attorney-at-Law.

Laura Viechtbauer’s main areas of practice include criminal law, financial criminal law, commercial criminal law, administrative criminal law and internal investigations as well as the closely related fields of compliance and litigation. With her impressive expertise, Laura Viechtbauer will further strengthen the team around René Haumer and Bernd Wiesinger. This important development is very much welcomed by Bernd Wiesinger, Partner in the Criminal Defense and White-Collar Crime team.

I am pleased to be able to continue my career at Haslinger / Nagele as an Attorney-at-Law after completing my training. My passion lies in criminal law. Thus, the focus of my work will be in the areas of criminal law, financial criminal law, commercial criminal law & administrative criminal law as well as internal investigations. During my already more than 3.5 years with the firm, I have received outstanding training in these legal areas under the guidance of Dr. Bernd Wiesinger.
