Representing interests and protecting innovation

Our 360° Renewable Energy practice group was once again represented at the EPCON Energy Congress organized by imh on April 20th and 21st.
For many years, the EPCON Energy Congress has been one of the key industry gatherings in the field of energy law in Austria. As part of a two-day program, the congress offers a comprehensive overview of current developments in Austrian and European energy law. Key topics range from energy policy and economic frameworks to regulatory developments, as well as issues related to the energy transition, infrastructure, innovation, and market integration of renewable energies.
Top-class keynotes, panel discussions, and topic-specific conference tracks – including the energy law track – facilitate an in-depth professional exchange among experts from public administration, regulatory bodies, the legal profession, and the energy industry.
As part of the energy law conference track, Johannes Hartlieb participated in a panel discussion on the second day of the conference titled “The GWG and Hydrogen – Legal Framework, Challenges & Financing.” He was joined on the panel by Karoline Narodoslawsky (BMWET), Matthias Stöckl (TAG), and Peter Jurik (AGGM).
We would like to thank imh for the successful organization of the congress and are already looking forward to EPCON 2027!
