Austrian Competition Law Moot Court

The 5th Austrian Competition Law Moot Court, kindly organised by the Federal Competition Authority, DORDA Rechtsanwälte GmbH and ELSA AUSTRIA, took place in Vienna yesterday. Six teams, each of them consisting of two to three law students and accompanied by a law firm, participated and demonstrated their already highly developed legal and rhetorical skills.

Johannes Hartlieb and Alexander Hiersche from Haslinger / Nagele’s Competition Law Practice Group assisted and coached Marina Brabenetz, Tomer Granit, and Maximilian Riedel, students at the WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Thanks to their hard work and perservance, they achieved 2nd place in the finals – well deserved!

Congratulations to them and all other participants!

We are already looking forward to next year’s competition.
