Symposium on “Emissions in Electricity Transmission”

On September 29th, the Institute of High Voltage Engineering and System Performance, in cooperation with VUM Verfahren Umwelt Management GmbH, will host the symposium “Emissions in Electricity Transmission.”

In presentation session II, from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m., Mario Laimgruber will present on the topic “Electromagnetic Fields and Noise: What the Renewable Energy Expansion Acceleration Act Clarifies for Power Line Projects.”

This year’s event will once again focus on the topics of electromagnetic fields and noise in the expansion of the power grid infrastructure. The event addresses current technical, scientific, medical, communicative, and legal issues – ranging from practical experiences in approval procedures and international developments to risk communication and the new legal framework established by the Renewable Energy Expansion Acceleration Act (EABG).

The goal of the conference is to combine well-founded scientific findings with concrete experiences from planning, approval procedures, and practical project implementation. In addition to the expert presentations, the event provides a platform for in-depth discussions, interdisciplinary exchange of experiences, and one-on-one conversations.
