It comprised an interview with our Partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haslinger-nagele.com\/en\/team\/alexander-hiersche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexander Hiersche<\/a> (Team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haslinger-nagele.com\/en\/expertise\/antitrust-competition-and-state-aid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antitrust and State Aid<\/a>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haslinger-nagele.com\/en\/team\/kerstin-holzinger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kerstin Holzinger<\/a> (Team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haslinger-nagele.com\/en\/expertise\/public-procurement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Public Procurement Law<\/a>), in which they provided information on questions of public procurement \u201cself-cleaning\u201d of companies after antitrust violations and the importance of compliance programs.<\/p>\n<p>Both come to the conclusion that the Austrian legislator implemented European provisions on the requirements for a successful &#8220;self-cleaning&#8221; in a very strict way (\u201cgold-plating\u201d), which does more harm than good to competition in tendering procedures.
