We have already extensively examined the first draft review from January 2024, including in the following articles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ElWG Check: simplified electricity all discussions about the fair distribution of (grid expansion) costs, it is clear that the new Electricity Industry Act will offer enormous opportunities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Massive simplification of <strong>energy contracting<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expansion of the <strong>prosumer<\/strong> concept<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alternative forms of <strong>community energy<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simplification of <strong>billing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear regulations on <strong>energy storage<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibilization of <strong>network connection<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This opens the door to business models that previously were either not feasible or only implementable with considerable uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will closely examine the current draft review (including the explanatory notes) and discuss it here and
