The expansion of the hydrogen industry comes with a variety of challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establishing a Europe-wide regulatory <strong>framework<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financing<\/strong> the necessary infrastructurer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating<strong> supply<\/strong> and<strong> demand<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But that&#8217;s not all: hydrogen also needs to be &#8220;<strong>green<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When is hydrogen green?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a recent article for the specialist journal \u00d6ZW, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haslinger-nagele.com\/en\/team\/alexander-gimona\/\">Alexander Gimona<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haslinger-nagele.com\/en\/team\/johannes-hartlieb\/\">Johannes Hartlieb<\/a> address the question of when hydrogen can be classified as renewable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Summary: The high expectations of the Commission&#8217;s legal acts have only been partially fulfilled: On the one hand, there is now a <strong>legal framework<\/strong> that companies can follow. On the other hand, this legal framework is often seen as <strong>excessive and overly complicated<\/strong>.
