Julia Goth: from Trainee to Equity Partner

In February 2022, Julia Goth (34) will become an Equity Partner at Haslinger / Nagele Rechtsanwälte. Our law firm is thus continuing its course of particularly promoting young talents from within our ranks and enabling them to pursue a stellar career.

During her studies, Julia Goth completed the “practice4jus” trainee program at Haslinger / Nagele. After completing her studies and court practice (“Gerichtsjahr”), she started as an Associate at Haslinger / Nagele in 2012. During this training period, Julia Goth’s practice focused on banking and capital markets law, white-collar crime law and also civil (procedural) law. As part of a secondment at a well-known tax consulting and auditing firm, she also gained valuable experience in the field of tax law. In 2017, she became an Attorney-at-law and Junior Partner at Haslinger/Nagele. She has now been promoted to Equity Partner.

Julia Goth’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law. She advises clients from a wide variety of industries on M&A transactions or shareholder disputes, but also start-ups in the context of company formation. In addition, she advises clients on questions of general contract law and civil law issues.

Julia Goth is also a board member of an Austrian private foundation and a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences of the WKW in Vienna as well as at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria at the Hagenberg Campus.

With her exceptionally focused way of working, Julia Goth quickly gained an excellent reputation in our law firm – and shortly thereafter also among our clients. Her interest in our clients’ activities and her profound knowledge of corporate and contract law make her a highly valued advisor and colleague“, says Dr. Daniela Huemer, LL.M. (Harvard) on the occasion of Julia Goth’s promotion.

Haslinger / Nagele showed me a clear career path early on and at the same time gave me the opportunity to develop my own areas of interest. Through activities in other areas, however, I was also able to see the bigger picture. I am very happy to be part of this well-established law firm, which nonetheless has its finger on the pulse of the times, and I look forward to being able to play an even greater role in shaping further developments in the coming decades,” says Julia Goth, looking forward to her new role.
