International Environmental Symposium

From October 3rd to October 4th, 2024, the International Environmental Symposium took place in Amsterdam, which was organized this year by NewGround Law. The exclusive networking event serves as a platform for international experts to discuss current environmental and energy law topics. Presentations by André Gaastra, Anna White, Carlos de Miguel Persles and many other experts enriched the exchange during the two-day event.

As part of the event, our 360° Renewable Energy practice group, represented by founding members Johannes Hartlieb and Mario Laimgruber, gave a presentation on the topic of “Energy Transition and Green Deal.” Specifically, our lawyers highlighted challenges and opportunities from the perspective of approval procedures for green energy and shared their experiences with energy communities.

We are proud to continue building and expanding our international network across generations, and we are excited about the valuable insights gained from this event, which we will, as always, apply for the benefit of our clients.
