Charity Campaign 2018 – OMO Child Ethiopia

Each year 200-300 babies and toddlers are killed due to the Mingi practice in Ethiopia’s remote Omo Valley. Tribal elders mandate the killing of these children as they believe that these children will bring misfortune to their villages.

OMO Child Ethiopia, which is supported by “OMO Child Äthiopien Austria”, seeks to raise awareness and eventually to end this practice.

As part of this year’s Christmas charity campaign, Haslinger / Nagele decided to support OMO Child Äthiopien Austria and invites everyone to do so as well.
