Casebook Commercial and Corporate Law

Daniela Huemer, together with Univ.-Prof. Martin Karollus (JKU Linz) and Judge Theresa Haglmüller (Higher Regional Court Linz), has comprehensively updated the well-established Casebook on General Commercial and Corporate Law. It is now in its seventh edition and contains a series of exam questions and short cases including answer keys for students as well as for trainees to prepare for the respective exams. Recent developments in legislation, including the current status of the planned new FlexKapG, judicature and academic discussions are taken into account up to July 2023. It builds on the systematics of Rieder / Huemer’s Corporate Law and thus serves as a valuable supplement for students in the form of a case-oriented exercise book.

With a total of 473 short cases and exam questions, students and other exam candidates have a textbook at their disposal that is both exam-relevant and suitable for practical use. Both works are also often used in practice as initial reference works since they present the legal framework in an illustrative manner, particularly through the use of straightforward (practice-relevant) cases.
