Austrian Environmental and Technology Law Award

Haslinger / Nagele, the MANZ publishing house, the Austrian Water and Waste Management Association (ÖWAV) and the Environment und Technology Association (IG Umwelt und Technik)  award two prizes, each worth EUR 2.500, for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of Austrian and European environmental and technology law for one paper in the field of public law and one in private law. The prize is awarded annually.

The Environmental and Technology Law Award 2019 went to Dr. Reka Krasznai for her dissertation on „Vom Abfall zur Ressource: Die Bestimmungen des AWG 2002 zum Abfallbegriff und zum Ende der Abfalleigenschaft im Lichte der Kreislaufwirtschaft“ and to Dr. Julius Ecker for his dissertation on “Nachbarrechtliche Sonderverhältnisse“.
