“Klimaparlament 2020” (Climate Change Parliament)

What tools are appropriate to fight the climate crisis, an iron fist or an incentive-based approach? To what extent may the state intervene to pursue environmental objectives?

These questions, among others, will be discussed in an event hosted and organised by Haslinger / Nagele, the Institute for Environmental Law (JKU), the Association of Young Environmental Lawyers (ÖWAV), and Fridays for Future Linz at the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz on 17 September. After a keynote speech by Michaela Krömer, who represents several environmental activists in a high-profile lawsuit before the Constitutional Court, a discussion with all participants will take place under the moderation of Wilhelm Bergthaler.

For those with a particular interest in the topic, a workshop will be held on 8 September at 5 p.m. at the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz.

Participation is free, however the number of participants is limited. Please register by sending an e-mail to klimaparlament@hnp.at.
